A compatibility-patch mod for Minecraft NeoForge, fixing crashes and broken interactions between third-party mods that would otherwise require manually pinning mismatched versions.

Features

  • Iris / Sodium Compat Patch — Fixes a ClassNotFoundException / MixinTransformerError crash caused by Iris 1.8.12’s Sodium compat mixins referencing a class (SodiumGameOptions$PerformanceSettings) that newer Sodium builds (0.8.13+) renamed to SodiumOptions$PerformanceSettings
  • Log Noise Patches — Mixin that makes malformed entity CustomName NBT fall back to plain text (stops per-tick Failed to parse entity custom name spam), plus a configurable Log4j2 filter (logfilter section of config/utility_nexus/fixes/config.toml) that drops benign stale-NBT lines (Tried to load invalid item/fluid, Ignoring unknown attribute 'forge:')
  • Nether Return Portal Fix — Remembers, per entity, which exit portal was paired with the portal you entered on an Overworld↔Nether trip, and reuses it on the return trip instead of vanilla’s “closest portal” search. Toggle with fixes.enableNetherReturnPortalFix in config/utility_nexus/fixes/config.toml
  • Better Villager Animations Dialogue Translation (optional, client-side) — Two soft client-only mixins translate that mod’s hardcoded villager speech-bubble templates to Spanish from a separately installed resource pack (assets/bettervillageranimations/dialogue/es_es.json), active only when the client language is es_es
  • Better Party Member-Health Crash Guard (optional, server-side) — A soft server-only mixin substitutes a safe finite value when a player’s max_health is invalid, so BetterPartyServerApi.memberHealth(...) no longer crashes the dedicated server mid-tick
