Mystical Realms Translation & Fixes

Client-side Spanish resource pack that translates 93 mod namespaces for the Mystical Realms modpack and repairs four broken files other mods ship.

Mystical Realms Translation & Fixes is a client-side resource pack for Minecraft 1.21.1 (resource pack format 34) that makes the Mystical Realms modpack readable in Spanish, and repairs four files other mods ship broken.

It ships two things, and never modifies another mod’s JAR:

  1. Spanish translations for 93 mod namespaces — 14,755 display keys, 188 in-game guidebook entries and one villager dialogue table — for mods that ship no Spanish locale or an incomplete one.
  2. Four fixes to other mods’ own files: three dead recipe references in two Patchouli guidebooks, and one model that fails to parse at startup.

Minecraft merges lang files on top of whatever each mod already provides, so this pack only has to supply the keys a mod is missing. Install it and Spanish appears; nothing in the mods changes.

The four fixes

ModFix
Butcheryravager_carcass model — illegal -90° element rotation fails to parse; Minecraft 1.21 bulk-loads every model at startup, so this errored on every launch
Butcherybutchers_table — recipe id typo crimnsonbutcherstablerecipe and an unnamespaced jungle recipe reference, both dead
Butcherydragon_scale — page declared patchouli:smithing but holds shaped crafting recipes, so the recipe never rendered
Iron’s Spellbookslate_game — two dangling recipe refs (cryomancer_helmet, pyromancer_helmet) repointed to the recipes that exist

Pairs with Mystical Realms Modpack Fixes

Its eighth patch overlays Better Villager Animations villager dialogue with Spanish, and reads the translation table from a resource pack at runtime rather than bundling it — because those strings are hardcoded in Java, which no resource pack can reach.

So the two are complementary halves of one feature:

Table presentOverlay works
Mod installed, this pack installedyesyes
Mod installed, this pack absentnono — silently

With the mod installed but no table, the overlay does nothing and logs nothing. If you install the mod expecting Spanish villager dialogue, install this pack too.

Serving it from a server

build_pack.py prints the SHA1 for server.properties, so the server can push the pack to every client on join:

resource-pack=https://your-host.example/MysticalRealms_TranslationFixes-1.0.1.zip
resource-pack-sha1=<sha1 printed by build_pack.py>
require-resource-pack=true

Bump the SHA1 on each release or clients keep their cached copy.
